Lori MacDonald is a massage therapist who runs her home based practice in Hatchet Lake, Nova Scotia. Originally from Ancaster Ontario, Lori attended McMaster University where she acquired her B.P.E degree. Lori's passion for health and wellness led her to completing her Massage Therapy Diploma and to a career of helping others. For the past 11+ years, Lori has lived and worked in the community of Hatchet Lake. Lori has 20+ years of experience in the massage therapy industry including teaching and private practice. Educating patients is one of Lori's passions. During her treatment sessions Lori uses a variety of techniques to address the patients main complaint and follows up with appropriate home-care to address any issue. Her passion for her work and her commitment to high quality results make both her patients and students raving fans. My clinic provides advanced therapeutic and relaxation massage in a safe, comfortable, and relaxing environment.
I offer the highest quality of care to my patients. I take the time to get to know my patients, educate them and develop meaningful relationships with them. I customize each treatment to meet your specific needs by incorporating a variety of assessment and treatment techniques that are best suited to you as an individual.
As part of my service, I will provide you with knowledge of self-administered pain management techniques such as stretching and strengthening exercises the use of heat or cold therapy, along with appropriate essential oil therapy which will help you get the most out of each treatment.
My practice is dedicated to improving the general well-being of all my patients.
